SPI Lasers has added to its recent sales appointments (‘Global VP of Sales’ & ‘China General Manager’) with the recruitment of Jim Cann as ‘National Sales Manager’ in the US.  This new role is pivotal in ensuring the company generates sustainable growth across the US from their range of industrial pulsed and CW fiber Lasers.

As National Sales Manager Jim will be responsible for leading SPI Lasers’ US sales team, ensuring customers receive the highest standards of sales and account management support.  With sales experience gained from a number of key roles across the US, Jim brings over 20 years of laser related expertise and knowledge to the role, which will be invaluable in helping SPI Lasers achieve their ambitious growth targets.

 

Most recently Jim served as North American Sales Manager for Optomec and was previously at Rofin for 18 years where he held several positions including National Sales Manager for high power lasers.

 

He said “I am delighted to be leading SPI Lasers’ (American) sales team, I have joined a progressive company at a very exciting time, I am looking forward to working with the great team here and ensuring we continue to offer our customers the very best levels of service and support when purchasing an SPI fiber laser.”
