Due to rapid growth just two years after its founding, Evosys Laser (Erlangen, Germany) has relocated to a new, larger facility. The company was founded for laser material processing by an experienced team of systems engineers.
After an initial period in the building of the company's investor and partner Intego (also in Erlangen), the need for a larger facility became apparent in 2017. The company quickly needed more laboratory space and capacity to build the laser systems, and the number of employees increased rapidly within a few months. The new facility features a larger Technical Center, according to Frank Brunnecker, the company's managing director.
The company develops and manufactures a new generation of tailor-made laser systems for material processing. Its core competency is laser welding of plastics, which includes product and process development, welding of sample parts, design and engineering of production equipment according to customers' requirements, and transfer into mass production based on the company's standard modules and machines for laser plastics welding.
Aside from good working environment, the new facility offers good transport connections and the opportunity for further growth.
