LASER COMPONENTS celebrated the opening of its new pyroelectric detector production facility only six months after the ground breaking ceremony.
With this opening, the LASER COMPONENTS Pyro Group has paved the way for further company expansion. One year after acquiring the manufacturing site and entire staff of Microwatt Applications, LLC the LASER COMPONENTS GROUP has significantly increased personnel and relocated the Pyro Group to a new production building, resulting in a 500% increase in available space.
“This is how it should continue to go,” began LASER COMPONENTS President Patrick Paul in his opening speech, “The first pyroelectric detectors have reached selected customers.”
The company is fully committed to increasing the Pyro Group product range. During the new facility opening event, Pyro Group General Manager Alan Doctor concluded, “Not only do we have high standards, but our customers have expressed concrete thoughts on future products as well. Naturally, we aim to meet these demands – and as quickly as possible. We expect to surpass the current state of the art.”
