In his new role as senior account manager at Framos GmbH, Michael Schalk will be responsible for expanding the image processing firm's share of the logistics solutions market.

Schalk will concentrate on marketing Framos' volume measurement systems in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, as well as northern and eastern Europe.

A physicist, Schalk has more than 30 years of experience in the sales of technically demanding products and is familiar with the logistics and image processing market. Previously he worked for ISRA Vision AG, Baumer Ident AG. More recently he worked in intralogistics sales at the industrial image processor Vitronic Dr.-Ing. Stein Bildverarbeitungssysteme GmbH.

Framos offers sensors, cameras and image processing components, as well as development support services and complete solutions for image processing applications.
