On November 12th, the grand opening ceremony of DNE Laser (Guangdong) Co., Ltd.'s (brand name: DNE LASER) Foshan Smart Manufacturing base — a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Bystronic Group of Switzerland — was grandly held at the Lingang International Industrial Park in Jiujiang Town, Nanhai District.

As the core hub of the Bystronic Group's layout in South China, this smart base — covering an area of over 66,700 square meters (more than 100 mu) with a workshop area exceeding 70,000 square meters — is not only built in accordance with "Industry 4.0" standards to create highly automated production scenarios, but also marks that under the full ownership of the Bystronic Group, DNE Laser officially embarks on a new global journey with a brand-new brand image.

Subsequently, Mr. Markus Thür, Consul General of Switzerland in Guangzhou, took the stage to deliver a speech. In his speech, Chen Haobin, Party Secretary and Director of the Standing Committee of the People's Congress of Nanhai District, stated that as an important node city in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and a core region of Guangzhou-Foshan Integration, Nanhai is committed to building a modern industrial system of "Three Highs and Four News" and continuously promoting the accelerated upgrading of manufacturing towards high-endization, intelligence, and greenization. Bystronic Group's decision to locate its Foshan base in Jiujiang, Nanhai, is not only an important achievement of Nanhai's vigorous cultivation and development of new quality productive forces, but also a vivid practice of deepening cooperation and jointly depicting a development blueprint between Nanhai and high-quality Swiss enterprises. The ceremonial segments at the celebration were rich with meaning: On behalf of the headquarters, Domenico, Group President of Bystronic, presented DNE Laser with a Swiss cowbell symbolizing auspiciousness, protection, and inheritance. As a highly representative token in Swiss culture, the Swiss cowbell not only carries the group's expectations and support but also embodies the beautiful vision for DNE Laser's vigorous development and continued glory. The subsequent eye-dotting ceremony breathed life into the lion dance, symbolizing the thriving future of the base. Witnessed by all guests present, the participating leaders and DNE Laser's senior management jointly cut the ribbon, marking the official commissioning of DNE Laser's Foshan Smart Manufacturing base.

As the core fulcrum of DNE Laser's global layout, the construction of the Foshan Smart Manufacturing base fully reflects "a high starting point and high standards." The base adopts a full-process intelligent management system, is equipped with top-tier domestic and foreign production and testing equipment, and has built a complete industrial chain from core component production to whole-machine assembly and testing. Inside the workshop, automated sheet metal/pipe loading and unloading systems are seamlessly connected with laser cutting and bending equipment. Through integrated laser control, "full-process control via a single computer" is realized. Standardized configuration units enable programming-free debugging of automated equipment, greatly reducing docking time.

It is reported that this modern smart manufacturing base, covering an area of over 66,700 square meters (more than 100 mu), integrates ecological production lines, automated production lines, and an immersive exhibition hall. It has realized full-process intelligent production from sheet metal processing to warehouse management, and will serve as the core hub for DNE Laser's large-scale production and a window for technical demonstration.

Technology Empowers the Development of the Entire Industrial Chain

Several technical seminars were also held at the event, allowing participating guests to gain an in-depth understanding of DNE Laser's product innovation and technological breakthroughs. Through on-site visits to the production workshops and intelligent production lines of the Foshan Smart Manufacturing base, the guests experienced firsthand the efficiency and precision of the base's intelligent production.

According to on-site briefings, through years of dedicated research and development by DNE Laser's team of professional laser technology talents and experts, the company has continuously innovated and advanced its core optical technologies. DNE Laser has now established four core product segments covering automated systems, fiber laser cutting machines, fiber laser tube cutting machines, and professional CNC bending machines, which can meet the processing needs of various metal materials such as stainless steel, carbon steel, and aluminum.

At the new product launch session, DNE Laser's star product — the D-Speed high-performance laser cutting machine — made a wonderful debut. Equipped with a maximum combined positioning speed of 150 meters per minute, a maximum positioning acceleration of 2.0G, a laser power of up to 20kW, and 7Hz low-pass filtering technology, this equipment achieves an outstanding performance: the cutting efficiency of 1-3mm sheets is increased by 22%, and the cutting surface roughness is ≤ Ra3.2. Its convenient packaging design that allows the entire machine to be loaded into a 40HQ container further enhances global delivery capabilities.

In addition, DNE Laser's products such as the D-Soar PlusG ultra-high power laser cutting machine, D-Tube series tube cutting machine, and C-Bend series CNC bending machine are widely used in various fields including automotive manufacturing, aerospace, new energy, furniture, kitchen and bathroom.
