At the invitation of Soochow University, Xinhua Wu, a world-renowned 3D printing expert and academician, has joined the School of Steel Science and Technology at Soochow University as a chair professor and doctoral supervisor on a full-time basis. He has also established the Institute of metal Materials and Intelligent Manufacturing. The institute adheres to the development concept of "science leadership, technological innovation, and achievement transformation" in a trinity, and is committed to the full industrial chain layout from basic research to equipment application, striving to build an international benchmark in the field of metal 3D printing.
