In the context of the increasingly severe development of the laser industry, Penta Laser's 2018 laser equipment sales and service contract exceeded 1 billion yuan, an increase of 25% over the previous year. The export volume reached more than 10 million US dollars, an increase of 80% over the previous year. In the domestic 10,000-watt laser market, Penta Laser has the highest market share.
According to Rangda Wu, general manager of Penta Laser, the development of China’s laser industry in 2018 was not so smooth and easy. Especially when the situation went down repidly in second half year -- the entire industry has experienced its first negative growth in more than a decade, and the situation is expected to remain unchanged for a while in 2019.
At present, the second production base of Penta Laser in Wenzhou City has been completed. It is understood that the second production base covers a total area of 70 acres. It is planned to officially open a new 10,000 square meter factory building and a 4000 square meter research and development center before July 2019.
