With the development of laser technology, ultra-fast lasers appear in people's sights. It has a unique ultra-short pulse and super-strong characteristics, which can achieve extremely high peak light intensity with low pulse energy.

Grace Laser Technology Co., Ltd (hereinafter referred to as "Grace Laser") completed nearly $100 million in Series B financing before the Spring Festival. This round of investment was led by Lengend Capital, Xiamen C&D Corporation and EVEREST. This round of financing will be used to expand and improve the product line, develop new products and build basic conditions.

Founded in August 2014, Grace Laser is a hard technology enterprise engaged in the design, development and manufacturing of ultra-fast and ultra-strong lasers. Its main products include industrial ultra-fast laser series, pulsed high-energy laser series, diode-pumped laser series, medical-specific OEM laser series, custom lasers, etc., which can be applied in scientific research, industrial processing and medical beauty.

At present, the key product of Grace Laser is ultra-fast laser, and its core competitiveness is obvious. The team is outstanding in several key core technology areas in the field. The BLAZER series of industrial-grade ultra-fast lasers independently developed by Grace Laser has achieved import substitution, and its market share in the domestic LCD comprehensive screen cutting industry is in the forefront of the industry. The ALICE-PS series medical picosecond laser breaks the monopoly of Europe and the United States and solves the problem of localization of the core light source of high-end medical equipment in China and exports it to Korea, Israel, Hong Kong and other countries and regions. The LAMBER series of high-energy nanosecond pulsed lasers have been successfully applied to large scientific devices such as Tokmak nuclear fusion (EAST) and Ti:Sapphire PW, and laser shock-enhanced systems (LSP). More than 10 sets of high-energy lasers are under construction. In terms of price, competitors mainly come from abroad, Grace Laser has the advantage of local service and price. It is reported that the market share of Grace Laser has exceeded 50%.

In recent years, laser technology has entered the public's field of vision more and more, such as FaceID, autopilot, full screen, picosecond freckle and other popular fields are inseparable from core components such as VCSEL, laser radar, ultra-fast laser, picosecond laser, etc. Although ultra-fast lasers are currently relatively small in size, they are growing rapidly. Ultra-fast lasers with megawatt peak power, picosecond and femtosecond pulse widths are rapidly evolving in consumer electronics processing, and are increasingly used in biomedical, brittle materials and metal processing.

In 2015, Grace Laser and the Chinese Academy of Sciences established a strategic partnership. Became one of the industrialization companies of Xi'an Opto-mechanical Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. In 2016, the company received an investment from the Angel Investment Fund of Xi'an University of Science and Technology.
