When LED lighting technology is enjoying its popularization, a Chinese young man of 80’s generation named Huang Fan and his company has successfully developed the next generation of lighting products.
 
PhDs devote into laser lighting technology
During her study in France, Huang Fan led a few PhDs and masters to develop several interactive communication technology in French National Science Laboratory, and they were awarded doctoral scholarship from Airbus. Huang Fan as the project leader designed the resource allocation part of French National Private Mobile Radio (PMR). The results of his optimized theory have been recognized by international experts.
 
In September 2015, Huang Fan participated in the "Win in Suzhou" Venture Contest for International Elites in France, which was held by Suzhou Municipal Government, China, and he was the only to have won the first prize with his project “laser searchlighting technology”. Subsequently, invited by Science and Development Bureau of Xiangcheng District, Suzhou, Huang Fan and his team visited the “Maker Space” in Gaotie New Town, Xiangcheng District, and settled their company there in March this year. Although the company has not yet officially started operation, this team of eight members including six PhDs and two masters has become the real "grind venture group" of the Maker Space.
 
about this venture, Huang Fan mentioned that he was inspired by the Nobel laureate, Nakamura Shuji. In the ceremony of Nobel Prize in Physics in 2014, Nakamura Shuji predicted, “Laser lighting will replace the LED lighting in 5 to 10 years; 10 years later, the price of laser lighting will be much lower, and laser lighting will achieve mass production.” Huang Fan immediately decided to proceed with laser lighting technology.
 
The first white laser searchlight in the world
At present the main problem of the research and development of laser source in the global wide is that the color of laser diode is single. However, Huang Fan and his team have solved the problem. They developed high-performance laser source, and then invented the world's first white laser searchlight. As Huang Fan introduced, the finished product of their laser source has small volume and low heat, while the light intensity is about three times the best xenon lamp available. The product can be used in the fields of automobiles, ships, trains and aircrafts.
