The first EU-Asia Laser Industry Summit Forum held by European Photonics Industry Consortium (EPIC)and Guangdong Laser Industry Association (GDLIA) is going to be held in Shenzhen in May.19-20 in Shenzhen Exhibition Center during The 10th Asia (Shenzhen) International Laser Application Fair. Also the forum is planned to be held in Europe in 2017.
In order to promote the development of laser industry in South China and the laser technology docking with Europe, in June ,2015 the GDLIA group visited the well-known German laser enterprises and participated in the 2015 Laser World of Photonics in Munich, to meet with the leaders of the EPIC. Together they both exchange ideas and agreed to sign the cooperation agreement, created opportunities for future collaboration.
In Nov.2015, the Director-General of European Photonics Industry Consortium (EPIC) Carlos Lee Visited Guangdong Laser Industry Association (GDLIA) in Shenzhen, China, and Lee visited Sunshine Laser & Electronics Corp, had a 3-hour meeting with Mr. Ruohong Hou, President of GDLIA, Professor Qingmao Zhang, Vice President of GDLIA, and Mr. Huo Shao, Secretariat of GDLIA.
