Focuslight Announces its Trademark being Infringed by German Company

Focuslight Technologies Inc. (hereinafter referred to as "Focuslight") the Chinese company has been using the trademark "F-mount®" for many years, enjoying a good reputation for manufacturing and selling the laser products. Since legally registered, it has been the legal owner of the trademark "F-mount®", authorized by China, the United States, Japan, Germany and other countries. The "F-mount®" products are designed and manufactured with the technologies such as heat sink and insulation, gold-tin solder encapsulation and thermal management, which are highly reliable that can be applied for harsh environment. The products are widely used in solid-state laser pumping, materials processing, life sciences, and research and engineering.
 
"F-mount®" products have a certain reputation in the industry. Some other domestic manufacturers has been found plagiarism before, and were stopped by Focuslight. Recently, Focuslight found that a German laser company is using "F-mount®" for its products without Focuslight's authorization. According to Focuslight, this conduct has infringed its trademark rights.
       
Focuslight declared that it has never authorized any domestic or foreign enterprise to use "F-mount®" and its patents, and that the so-called "F-mount®" products of the German company are largely different those of Focuslight.
       
It is said that Focuslight has issued a letter of request to the German company, demanding it immediately stop using the "F-mount®" trademark for its product promotion, sales and other activities.
