Introduction of Guangdong Laser Industry Association
广东省激光行业协会由广东地区从事激光行业相关的研发、设计、生产、经营、应用、服务等经济组织自愿组成，并依法登记的行业性、地方性、非营利性的社会团体。
The Guangdong Laser Industry Association engaged in laser industry related research and development, design, production, management, application, services and other economic organizations voluntarily, and is registered and an industrial, local, non-profit community groups according to law.
协会坚持科教兴国和可持续发展的战略，促进激光科学技术与经济的结合，促进激光科学技术普及和推广，引导广东激光行业良性发展，为激光企业与科研人群提供产学研合作平台。为政府、行业、会员提供服务是协会的宗旨。
The association holds the “Reviving Country by Technology” and the strategy of sustainable development, promoting the combination of technology and economy of laser science, boosting laser science and technology popularization and promotion, guiding the healthy development of Guangdong laser industry, providing the cooperation platform for laser enterprises and research groups. For the government, industry, membership service is the purpose of the association.
目前协会有会员100余家，上市企业3家，规模以上企业30多家，高校院所10多家，聚集行业专家逾100名。是全国唯一的一家省级激光行业协会。
Currently the association has a membership of nearly 100, among which three companies are on stock market, more than 30 are big scale enterprises, including more than 10 universities, institutes, covering more than 100 experts. The association is the only one provincial laser industry in China.
协会参与主办《激光制造商情》报、《3D打印商情》报、激光制造网、“亚洲激光论坛”、 “亚洲先进激光制造展” 等多个大型活动和媒体推广平台，特别是协会正在建立的广东省激光创新平台，更是具备完整的内部服务体系和强大的社会服务功能。能及时为会员、企业、院校、社团提供更完善的服务。
The association organized the magazine “Laser Manufacture News”, “Additive Manufacturing News”, www.laserfair.com, "Asian laser forum", "Asia Advanced Laser Exhibition" and other large activities and media promotion platform, especially the association is establishing Guangdong Province innovation platform, with a complete internal service system and a strong social service function. It can provide more perfect service for membership, enterprises, colleges, society in time.
协会与国内上海、浙江、武汉、香港等10多个激光行业协会，100多高校院所建立了长期的战略合作关系，与台湾、美国、德国、立陶宛、俄罗斯长期战略合作，互动交流。是一家受到政府部门、行业和市场高度认可的社会团体。
The association builds good relationship with laser community from Shanghai, Zhejiang, Wuhan, Hong Kong etc. Establishing partnership with more than 100 universities and institutes for a long-term strategic cooperation, the association also exchange with laser organizations from Taiwan, Germany, Lithuania, USA, Russia. The association is a social groups highly recognized by government, industry and market.
